Product Release Highlights Q3

Alec Nathan

Head of Product at OutcomeAlec Nathan

Q3 was about getting more of your work done in one place. Now you can send deliverables straight out of Outcome and pick up chats where you left off with full context. High-volume uploads stay accurate, even when three people upload the same rent roll. Here’s what shipped from July through September.

Catch duplicate uploads automatically

What we built: When teams upload overlapping batches of documents, Outcome detects the duplicates the moment they’re uploaded, before it extracts anything.

What this means for you: Instead of having portfolio square footage quietly inflating when teams upload duplicate documents, Outcome stops that at upload. This way, your totals are right the first time.

Upload the whole workbook, every tab included

What we built: Outcome now processes multi-tab Excel workbooks in a single upload. Workflows target individual sheets and run them in parallel.

What this means for you: Most portfolio operating statements and multi-property rent rolls arrive with a tab per property. Your team used to split those files by hand before uploading. Now they upload the file as is. Every extracted figure carries a cell-level citation back to the source sheet. When your CFO asks where a number came from, you can show them the exact cell.

See one property (however each document names it)

What we built: Outcome recognizes the same property or entity across documents and amendments despite naming variations, typos, and address differences. It merges the records as new files arrive.

What this means for you: Outcome connects different variations of the same property into one property with one consolidated history by appropriately classifying primary documents and amendments. Now your portfolio view stops showing three partial records for one building.

Get more accurate answers from your data

What we built: Questions about your property management and accounting systems now provide more accurate answers because Outcome better understands nested ledger tables and multi-entity structures, thanks to improved training.

What this means for you: Ask what you spent on repairs and maintenance across a region last quarter, and the answer reflects how your books are organized. Outcome’s model is trained on real estate structures and runs validation checks before an answer reaches your team.

Send memos and decks straight from chat

What we built: Investment memos, briefs, executive summaries, and decks you build in chat now export in one click. You can export to branded Word documents, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, or clean HTML, and Outcome automatically applies your fonts and brand standards.

What this means for you: The file that comes out of chat is the file you send to IC or a client. Your team still reviews and edits every deliverable, but nobody has to reformat it first.

Say it once, and chat remembers

What we built: Share your formatting standards, workspace preferences, or portfolio details once, and chat carries them into future conversations. You can view and edit what it has saved at any time.

What this means for you: You shouldn’t have to re-explain your portfolio every time you open a new chat. Tell it how your memos are structured or which properties sit in which fund, and it picks up where you left off. Everything it saves stays visible, so you always know what’s shaping an answer.

Export the exact view you built

What we built: Data grid exports now reflect your current view, including visible columns, search, and filters. Download as CSV or Excel.

What this means for you: Filter to the leases expiring next year, hide the columns your lender doesn’t need, and export. The file matches your screen, and nobody has to rebuild the same filters in Excel.

Invite your team when they’re ready

What we built: Admins can provision team members into specific enterprise apps without triggering welcome or verification emails. Users in multiple organizations can now switch between them without sign-in errors.

What this means for you: Set up a team’s access ahead of training, then send invites when everyone’s ready. Nobody’s first login lands on an app they haven’t been trained on.

Review your apps from your phone

What we built: New apps built on Outcome adapt to phones and tablets, with slide-out navigation, touch-friendly dialogs, and responsive controls.

What this means for you: Asset managers and field teams can review deal screens, property data, and extraction results during a site visit or between tenant meetings.

What’s Coming Up Next?

Every release this quarter focuses on shortening the steps between an AI output and the decision your team makes with it. Clean data going in and finished work coming out means fewer hours spent checking and reformatting, and more spent on important tasks.

In Q4, we’re excited to bring additional enhancements and product updates to keep improving your experience with Outcome.
